With your donation you are supporting the Monument's numerous Worksites
The history of the Duomo has always been linked to the generosity of great families, illustrious patrons, and citizens who, over the centuries, have donated goods and labour to construct such a unique monument as the Milanese Cathedral. With your gesture, you will be able to become a part of this history and concretely support the continuous care and maintenance of the Duomo carried out by the specialised personnel from the Veneranda Fabbrica.
Support for our fundraising projects will allow the Veneranda Fabbrica to intervene appropriately on the architectural elements and the numerous art treasures kept inside the Cathedral. In turn, these will be able to be returned to their original beauty and be useable once again. An important objective is also offering new ideas for the study and enhancement of the Duomo's historical-artistic heritage and to ensure prayer and visiting by worshippers and tourists in complete safety.
Donating towards the restoration of Milan Duomo means preserving it through time, so that future generations can continue to enjoy it.
It should be noted that all donations contribute to Milan Duomo's overall restoration projects and that associating one's donation to a specific fundraising initiative is purely indicative: the Veneranda Fabbrica, through its Operations Management, will identify the sites on the Monument most in need of urgent restoration.
